Client Confidentiality

1. Identification
We do require some information for your identification. This will include an email address and a telephone number. You are welcome to use a pseudonym BUT see payment (below).

2. Conversations between us are recorded. The record is written and/or audio-visual. Its purpose is to help assimilation and avoid misunderstanding.

3. To comply with GDPR regulations, we must have a legal basis on which to record and use your data. The legal basis is that you have given us your consent by signing this agreement. You have rights relating to your data, and these are listed below.

All records are securely held, either in locked cabinets or secure databases, for 7 years.

Your data cannot be hacked via the Internet – it is permanently offline.

We will not pass on your information to anyone outside the service, with the following exceptions:

3.1. Where you request or give permission for information to be shared.

3.2. Where we are required to by law.

4. Use of data GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation UK)
GDPR provides various rights for individuals regarding their data. These are listed below.

4.1 The right to be informed
Your Confidentiality Agreement informs you of the reason for collecting your data and the use we make of this.

4.2 The right of access
You have the right to request the information that we hold on you.

4.3 The right to rectification
You have the right to have data that we hold about you corrected, where it is inaccurate or incomplete.

4.4 The right to erasure
You have the right to withdraw your consent for us to hold your data, in which case it would be erased.

4.5 The right to restrict processing
You can ask us to restrict the way in which we use your data.

4.6 The right to data portability
You have the right to ask us for the data that we keep electronically, so that you can provide it to a third party.
