“In the multitude of counsellors there is safety” *

That’s encouraging;  one of them should be able to help. . .   But which one?

Most of them appear to offer advice regarding difficult relations at home, but where can you find a specialist in the other  family –  the one  at work?

Probably best to start by looking at how the counsellor’s internet profile is presented,  because that  offers helpful evidence of their practical experience and ability in managing relationships –  or People Ops as it is now known, unfortunately.

Look at their website:

Is it clear and factual?

Does it explain what they are offering?    

Does it illustrate their level of competence?   

Does it suggest what to do next?     

Then –

Can you contact them easily?    

Is their reply prompt and  efficient?      

Are they sensible on the telephone?        

Ticked all the boxes?  Well, at least they have thought about sensible communication.
